Great Eats!!!

You already know that I like to share recipes with you when I feel that they're beneficial and usually it's a healthy recipe. Well this recipe isn't that healthy but it sure is great tasting. I added a few fresh herbs to really punch up the taste too so it's really a good weekend meal although I made it today, which for me is a snowy and cold Tuesday. Besides my horrible weather, it's still great indoors for us food wise and if you're a seafood lover then you'll definitely be happy. Let me get to the recipe... I made Crab Alfredo from scratch and let me show you some pictures.

This is your sauce.

This is a great recipe if you're having some friends over for a dinner party or a special someone who you're trying to impress. It's really good and easy to make. It took me 30 minutes to prepare but if you include a salad it may take you 45 minutes all together to prepare but it's worth it and they'll think you're a chef!

Crab Alfredo Recipe
-fresh scallions (tips cut off) about 4 full scallion stalks
-fresh parsley (small portion of your bunch no stems)
-fresh cilantro  (cut a small portion of the leaves from your bunch no stems)
- 4 leaves of fresh basil
- 3 fresh small cherry tomatoes
- 3 cloves of garlic or 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Chop all of your fresh herbs and tomatoes in a food processor or make sure finely chop all ingredients.

In a sauce pan combine following ingredients.
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 teaspoons of flour
- add your fresh herb mixture to the butter and flour heating about 3 minutes.
- 1 half pint of light cream and 1 half pint of heavy cream (or 1 pint of half and half)
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of onion seasoning
- sprinkle with fresh pepper
- 1 16 oz. can of lump crab meat
stir until cheese is melted on low flames and keep heated while your fettuccine noodles is cooking about 10-15 minutes. Drain your fettuccine noodles and serve.
I added a side salad and garlic bread for added appeal.

Hope you love it and I hope it's a hit for whomever you're serving!
